About the Role
We are seeking an individual with a passion for working on Machine Learning and autonomous aerial systems. As a Deep Learning Intern, you will work on implementing, training, developing and optimising computer vision deep learning methods. We are developing modules that enable UAVs to navigate in any conditions (indoors, dark, dusty, high altitude GNSS jamming scenarios, etc.). You will have the opportunity to make direct contributions to the improvement of our systems' performance.
The Work
Design, implement, and deploy computer vision-based deep learning models.
Refine and optimise models for low-latency on embedded hardware.
Develop evaluation benchmarks and metrics to quantify the performance of autonomous systems.
Be a generalist, helping out on all aspects of the software when needed.
We are looking for someone with
A passion for hardware and mathematics.
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, training and deploying deep learning models.
Ability to deliver high-quality, well-architected code (Python/PyTorch and preferably, C++).
Has Experience with Linux Development Environment and tools like CMake, Git, etc.
Strong communication skills.
Bonus if you:
Have hands-on experience with robots in the form of projects or competitions.
