About the Role
We are seeking an individual with a passion for working with hardware and autonomous aerial systems. As a Robotics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with concepts like localisation, perception, and deep learning. We are developing modules that enable UAVs to navigate in any conditions (indoors, dark, dusty, high altitude GNSS jamming scenarios, etc.). You will work with a team of stellar roboticists and contribute to the testing and development of these systems.
The Work
Design, develop and debug the autonomy software stack for our systems.
Work on planning, optimal controls, computer vision, machine learning, perception, and behaviours for aerial systems.
A lot of testing in real-world environments.
Document and maintain efficient, modular, and reliable C++ code.
Develop or improve algorithms for various autonomy modules.
Understand and replicate state-of-the-art methods from the research communities.
We are looking for someone with
A passion for hardware and mathematics.
Experience in C++ and Python.
Experience with ROS/ROS2 and Gazebo simulator.
Has Experience with Linux Development Environment and tools like CMake, Git, etc.
Be a generalist, helping out on all aspects of the robotics deployment when needed.
Bonus if you:
Have hands-on experience with robots in the form of projects or competitions.
Have experience with aerial robots and flight controller stacks (PX4, Ardupilot).
