About the Role
We are seeking an individual with a passion for working on Robots and UAVs. As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for rigorously testing our systems in a systematic manner. The work includes testing new features, implementing bug fixes, conducting routine tests, managing data, doing client demonstrations and system integration.
The Work
Build, Configure, fly and test systems and UAVs.
Perform system-level testing, including bench testing, simulation, and field testing.
Report and debug hardware–software integration issues.
Support outdoor flight tests and real-world validation.
Collect, analyse, and document flight logs and test results.
Maintain test procedures, checklists, and integration documentation.
Make methodical test cases based on understanding of the user requirements, R&D inputs and features.
Contribute to system integration, assembly and demos when needed.
Provide Feedback along with proper data backing to the development team.
We are looking for someone with
Experience in building and operating UAVs (Multirotors as well as fixed-wing).
Experience with standard GCS software such as QGroundControl and Mission Planner.
Hands-on experience in Ardupilot/PX4 configurations and parameters.
Knowledge of subcomponent setups, including telemetry, radios, ESCs, FCs, GPS, IMUs, and core flight hardware.
Field experience of testing UAVs in harsh environments.
Comfortable travelling and staying outdoors.
Strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
Experience with QC, Validation roles in the UAV field.
Bonus if you:
Are a DGCA-certified test pilot.
Experience with Linux.
